Frequently Asked Questions
What does Pure Pop Bag® mean?
Quinn Microwave Popcorn is different, in the best way, from all other microwave popcorn brands on the market. Other microwave popcorn bags contain a patch of metalized plastic foil called susceptor. In some cases, it helps popping, but we just don’t feel good about very hot plastic next to our food. Our Pure Pop Bag® is made of ONLY compostable paper, and filled with our Organic Non-GMO popcorn kernels. No chemicals, no plastics, no scary stuff. Check out our insider tips & tricks on how to get a perfectly popped bag of microwave popcorn.
Is your Dried Cheddar Cheese rBGH free?
Yes! All of our dried butter & cheeses are rBGH free. Learn more about our supplier, Bluegrass Dairy on our Farm To Bag page!
Can I compost the bag?
If you’d like to compost our Pure Pop Bag®, simply cut or rip off the seams (those cannot be composted due to the glue) and put the rest of the bag in your compost bin. If you’re composting at home make sure to mix your popcorn with the oil in a bowl to keep the oil out of your compost bin. The oily paper is totally okay to go into industrial compost though. The carton is recyclable through curbside recycling.
